UCLan Cyprus organizes the Human Rights Days events which are scheduled to take place during the month of December at the University.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Cyprus in cooperation with UCLan Cyprus invites you to visit the photographic exhibition ‘Trauma, Healing and Hope’ of the International Criminal Court, The Hague, The Netherlands. The photographic exhibition will be displayed at the main reception area of UCLan Cyprus between the 5th and the 20th December 2019 (excluding weekends).
On the 5th and the 10th December 2019, UCLan Cyprus, with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Cyprus, will host the screening of two film documentaries: ‘The Trial of Ratko Mladic’ and ‘Facing the Dragon’. The screening of the film documentaries will be followed by panel discussions, chaired by academics at the School of Law, UCLan Cyprus.
As part of its Theory of Law series, the School of Law of UCLan Cyprus invites you to attend a public lecture on the 16th December 2019 by Judge Akis Hadjihambis on ‘The Historical and Social Evolution of Fundamental Rights’ (limited seating).
